Morning Glory Records is proud to present the uplifting new single, “Save Me” from The King James Boys. The song, written by David Ray Johnson, features the band’s traditional bluegrass music mixed with the southern gospel style harmonies reminiscent of a southern tent revival.
“We fell in love with “Save Me” several years back and knew we wanted to record it at some point. The song fits well on this project. The lyrics and the message moved us, and we hope it will move and uplift all those who listen to the song. We had a great time recording “Save Me,” and we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we have,” said Randy Spencer.
Founded in 1994, The King James Boys began performing as a local church band. As their popularity grew, they began touring the country, ministering with their music. Upcoming performances include August 14 in Dahlonega, Georgia; August 15 in Gastonia, North Carolina; August 22 in Bristol, Virginia; and September 6 in Branson, Missouri.
The King James Boys features the talents of Randy Spencer on lead & harmony vocals and guitar; Cole Spencer on bass, guitar, and harmony vocals; Curtis Lewis on banjo; Will Hart on mandolin, guitar, harmony vocals; and Josh Greene on fiddle, bass vocals.
